Ignatian Weekend Retreat

WHAT IS AN IGNATIAN WEEKEND RETREAT?

These retreats are conducted in an atmosphere of prayerful silence and include generous amounts of time for prayer, personal reflection and the cultivation of a deep relationship with God.  It also provides for daily Eucharist and the possibility of celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation.  We ask that, during the retreat, an atmosphere of quiet be maintained throughout the house.

The retreat is open to anyone who is seeking a deeper relationship with God in prayer (You do not have to be part of a Parish Group to come.), but normally groups are formed out of parish communities through the invitation of a Retreat Captain. (A list of the parishes that participate and their respective weekends can be found on our calendar.)

Each year the retreat focuses on a different retreat theme.  This year’s retreat theme is entitled: “Rivers of Living Water”.
